I was never a big fan of sending cards to family and friends. Especially now with our modern technology, human interaction and communication have become much more convenient. I would rather send an email, a Whatsapp message, or a text message. Wouldn’t that be much more instantaneous than waiting to give a card to my loved ones or sending a card in the mail? This candid picture was taken by a staff working at The Pride of Canada Carousel. Looking at how happy we were reminded me that a romantic date doesn’t need to be extravagant with candle light dinners. It is the moment that we share together that makes the experience worthwhile. We were on our way to another destination when we drove passed the carousel. I said, ‘Stop! What is this place? Let’s go check it out.” To our amazement, each ride only costs $2.
