The Art of Leadership for Women

@LeezaGibbons
@LeezaGibbons – “Nice girls can win. Put the blinders on while running the race.”
This was a rare occasion to attend one of the business conferences hosted by The Art Of at the Metro Convention Centre.  The day was jam-packed with practical tips and stories shared by women like Leeza Gibbons, Suzy Welch, Gretchen Rubin, Dr. Kelly McGonigal and Tara Mohr.
Here are a few infographics that capture some of the highlights at the conference!

@suzywelch
@SuzyWelch – “…destiny is the intersection between what you are uniquely good at versus what you really love doing.”
@gretchenruben
@GretchenRuben – “The most important step in creating a habit is the 1st step.”
@KellyMcgonigal
@KellyMcgonigal – “Having stress doesn’t mean you suck or you’re weak.”
@taramohr
@TaraMohr “Your inner critic is going to speak up anytime you go out of the comfort zone.”

    I heard that after winning on Celebrity Apprentice she said “nice girls do win” I think that’s amazing. We live in a culture where some take great pleasure in watching someone in pain – hence these dang reality train wrecks called television. Glad to know that we can build up ourselves as human beings and come out on top!
